is a non-governmental organization dedicated to democratizing space and raising awareness about space
innovation for the benefit of humanity. Founded by Helene Huby, who also established the Exploration Company
(Europe’s response to SpaceX), the Karman Project is often regarded as the “United Nations of space.”
It uniquely facilitates dialogue between geopolitical regions that are typically in conflict and represents
every space agency striving to build previously non-existent bridges.
In addition to democratizing space, the Karman Project is shaping visual culture. Their campaign, “The Space That Makes Us Human” (link to project page), reached people worldwide. As a natural progression, the brand aimed to define a new visual identity.
We developed a new visual system that preserves the company’s spirit while introducing a more systematic and sophisticated visual toolkit. Our research and strategy guided this work, ensuring a cohesive brand language expressed through voice, design, motion, and photography.
